Biography
Upon graduation from OSU in 1971, Mr. Robert Olsen worked with Continental Heller Corporation as a project engineer and manager and progressed to the Director of East Coast Construction and Marketing Manager. In 1980, Mr. Olsen and two friends formed the J.R. Roberts Corp. in Sacramento, which grew to be one of the top 100 largest contractor fi rms in the USA. Not long after starting J.R. Roberts Corp., Mr. Olsen joined with others to form S.D. Deacon of Portland which employs 450 people and had 2008 revenues of $550 million.
